Trucking in Alaska?
Are there a lot of jobs for CDL drivers? I have heard the pay is more, but is that just to offset the high cost-of-living? Any info is appreciated.

Good jobs for truckers, yes. I happen to know about it firsthand. Just be prepared to drive in all sorts of road conditions. You can look in the Anchorage Daily News or on Craig's List or the state of AK has a website with job postings too. I know of about five openings right now at companies I pass all the time on my trips. Pay depends on where in the state and what company. Best of luck to ya.

May be some driving opportunities here. Usually lot's of trucking with road maintenance and construction during summer months.
