I have been having a hard time finding lodging in Nome for that time. Called a few months ago and everything was booked. I signed up for the waitlist for floor space or couch space so maybe that will work out but I still wanted to know if anyone else had suggestions. I am really flexible on dates and places to sleep. I'm in Anchorage so I can fly up any day. Anyone have suggestions of where I could look? thanks

it seems like your only other option would be staying in somebody's home. if i hear of any acquaintances in nome that might be looking to make an extra buck by hosting a couch-surfer or two, i'll send you a direct message. i'd keep checking craigslist, too- i wouldn't expect to see any postings until a lot closer to the race (or you could post your own ad).
