We use to have this problem in Spain, when the political parties supporting the Basque terrorism use to point their enemies as human targets, then ETA, the terrorist band, used to shoot or bomb them. At a certain point, the Spanish Government included "incitement to violence" in the Penal Code. It was not the only factor, but it did work. Sarah Palin and the like should be prosecuted for this.

Sorry but that's just an opinion piece and still doesn't answer the question of whether the shooter had any knowledge whatsoever of "Sarah's List".

The yellow star was state sanctioned in N. Germany--no, that isn't an attempt to condone it, just pointing out the difference between it and Sarah's List.

What was taking place in Spain is a bit different from what has just happened here. And there is of yet no evidence that the guy even knew about Sarah's hit list or who was on it.

It's seeming more and more unlikely that Sarah's List was a factor in this shooting.

Maybe those who wrote and performed the music that he liked to listen to should be prosecuted. It looks like it had more influence over him than anything else.

Having a solid grasp on legal nuance and an appreciation for the 4th Amendment rights that we all enjoy in this country are seperate things from denial.

My view was actually somewhat similar to yours here before things about the shooter started coming to light. I really don't think he was a rabid Palinista out to perform a political assination on her behalf. And no, I didn't get that idea from the "media" but rather from the guy's own websites. She isn't even mentioned....quite a lot of other things are, though.
