Good Afternoon, I don't know much about Dillingham, except that it is not accessible by road, and lots of commercial fishing during the summer.

Thanks for answering. I am hoping to get a job with the hospital there. No road, few people, sounds great to me. Whether I get the job or not, I am definitely moving to AK in May. My friend and I are taking about 3 weeks to drive from Atlanta, just taking our time and seeing the national parks etc. If I don't have a job I will start in Anchorage. If I do get the job in Dillingham, I will going there and my stuff will be on a barge... I am flying my cats in after I get settled..they should enjoy that long flight...not. LOL.

Dillingham is very beautiful but can be a bit claustrophobic if you are used to being able to "go for a drive". Be prepared to entertain yourself with things other than what is accepted in a larger, road-bound city. If you are into the outdoors (hunting, fishing, camping, canoeing, flying, etc.) it may very well be your kind of paradise.
