Jumper cables, 12 volt air compressor, flares, triangle reflector, gloves, hat, warm boots, matches or lighter, electrical tape or duct tape, spare headlight bulb, one or two packs of MRE's (foil packs of food), handfull of rags, etc....get you one of those cheap tubs with a lid at Walmart or Freddies and load it with emergency items. Store it in the trunk.

guess it' nice to have stock pile of food. such like camping foods. I would say six weeks worth. along with water storage. reflecting remote cabin home.

I keep a mini propane torch in the emergency kit as well. Way more effective for starting a fire then a box of matches.

Plus . . . If I get into real trouble, and no help is even remotely available, I can always set the tundra on fire. I promise you someone will send out an aircraft to check it out. Insta rescue!
