I applied for active duty military police position at Fort Greely back in the spring. The posting closed in August and I have not heard anything about it since. Does anyone know how the time line for this job work. When I should expect to be contacted and when I would have to relocate there? Any information would be great!

Your question is puzzling. You can't just apply for an active duty military position. You have to be in the military.

Are you on a government watch list?

Why not just call their visitor center and ask?

We do work on Ft. Greely and it's a pain getting our guys on base. It's a very active place. Are you retired military?

You should contact the place that provided you with the job application. They are the ones who can answer your questions.

@ Walter

Generally you need some specific reason to get a visitor pass to get on Greely. They put in the missile field a bunch of years back, and security got pretty tight. If you contact the visitor center beforehand, they might be able to help you out. Or if you know someone in Delta with base access, just ride in with them.

It's frustrating how restrictive the base is now. I grew up in Delta in the 70s and was a military dependent. My dad was a retired WWII vet and he worked on base. I spent a lot of time there, but when I moved back I couldn't do much there.
