I am certain that what you have said is true, but a lot of people get hooked on drugs just because they decide to try it a time or two for fun. Young people try it because some of their friends offer it to them, or just because they want to know how it feels, and soon enough they all are doing it whenever they get a chance. By then it's too late to pull out of it.

Tiger Beer, woops, my bad. Ask a serious question, get a serious answer. Nothing lol about it as far as I can tell, but my perspective is probably a lot different than yours. Carry on, keep looking; South Dakota may have what you're looking for.

I'm just inquiring about meth on an Alaska forum.

I really found your first answer on this thread very interesting...hence why I was curious your take on Juneau. However, I have no clue how my Juneau inquiry devolved into you thinking I need to go to South Dakota.

But outside of that, I found your first post on this thread to be very interesting and informative.

A few years ago I started talking with a woman in the parking lot at the store who had a beautiful dog -- golden retriever type--in her truck. She told me that the dog had been a "meth puppy" and that the meth scum around here would use puppies to test their batches...she ended up with the dog some way.

Anyway, I was surprised to hear that it's the problem that it is in the Northern Villages...what a shame.

Its just as much of a problem down my way as well. And the labs aren't limited to rural locations. They've been found in the city as well.

Point Hope: population 700+. Half of that population is under the age of 20.

Half of that number of young people are in jail !! With lots more on the way - (adults).

The crime in the villages is out of control. One man who rapped six women in less than six months. Actually had his sisters going around the village with a petition to gain signatures so that he could RETURN !!

BELIEVE IT OR NOT: They succeeded. He was allowed to return - Just for whaling. (as he is a captain). Once whaling was over he had to leave the village.

Much to the relief of many very concerned women !!

Why do you make PHO sound so bad? I have friends I keep in contact with up there and it's not as bad as you make it sound. A bunch of BS!

I dare say, your friends are lying to you.. .. which happens to be the norm in that village. NO ONE EVER TELLS THE TRUTH. it is much easier to lie.

A ten year old boy walking around drunk ??

EVERY woman in that village - has been rapped at some point in their life.

I DON'T HAVE TO MAKE ANYTHING UP. The truth is too terrible to actually tell.
