Hi I am trying to help a friend in Sand Point who is in urgent need of a vet for his epileptic dog. If anyone knows of a vet or a MD who may help. Please let me know.

Hopefully someone will be able to refer you, but just as an FYI to tell your friend, "phenobarbatol" (probably spelled wrong) is a human drug which vets prescribe to dogs that have seizures. I have a 75lb Mix that had seizures and once we settled on 1/2 pill twice a day they have 95% stopped, with only one very very rare one. This is a controlled substance and the dog version is the same as the human version, so they have strict controls on passing it out, but if she can find a vet that can at least give an initial prescription, maybe from there on she can get it refilled via the web or something (?)
