Default Where to Stay in Ketchikan

I'm visiting Ketchikan and would love some recommendations on where to stay.
Does anyone know the Capitol Hotel? New York Hotel?
I'm not a chain hotel kind of guy.

Default Consider Cape Fox Lodge

I happen to discover the Cape Fox lodge by riding the free lift from Creek St. last time I was in town. The lodge is on a hill with nice views and at a quite location. By clicking E on the left hand side within the link below, it will show map location, a direct link to their site and 8 user submitted reviews. lodging loc: Ketchikan, AK - Google Maps

New York Hotel can be accessed by clicking H.

The Landing is a Best Western, but is not a cookie cutter kind of hotel like you find in the lower 48. Not bad at all.
