Slowly, work is done in many different areas to add detail, smooth out and shape/ form the piece of ivory to resemble a hunter walking.

This is actually a lot easier than it looks.



Blocking out the simple shape(s) are easy. Adding detail is the difficult part that only comes with .. .. 'practice'!

Adding detail to many different areas is time consuming but simple to accomplish.

First we need to create a new harpoon & a niqsuit (rope w/weight and treble hooks)

How did we make the treble hooks ?? We merely used ear-ring loops and cut them. Inserted them into the ivory piece to make a very authentic looking niqsuit complete with sharp treble hooks.
