This is the guy that wants to take Alaska back. He has said a lot of other inflammatory things as well. He likes to say things to shock people.
I beg you! Who is he in Duma (Russian Parliament)? He decides nothing there. Nobody perceive his seriously. All that he does - all are on-public Show and politic PR. On the other hand he would not be capable to keep himself in Parliament. There is a Russian proverb: "The crucian doesn't doze because the pike lives in a pond".

Have you ever heard what an "undeclared" voter means in Alaska? I am just a conservative and independent voter. That's all. How about you?

Well, it seems that you completely ignored the rest of what I had to say. Why don't you go back and reread what I wrote instead of taking the whole thing out of context?

Anyone who votes a straight tivket should get paid by the party for it. No one agrees with every democratic candidate or every republican candidate on every issue.

Oh Ray, you're as red as they come. Nothing wrong with admitting it. Anybody who uses the term "RINO", and then says that is the reason they are voting that person out of office, is a republican, and there's just no two ways about it. Why are you ashamed to admit to your party affiliations?

In this case I can offer the well-known Diary of Russian merchant Grigoriy Shelekhov (in Russian - Григорий Шелехов) who took the most direct part in the formation and the development of so called Russian America. I would not be surprised at the some change of the opponents’ opinions to more objective appraisal after reading of this Diary. Everyone perfectly knows that Alaska has been sold for ever and it is the property of the USA. It is indisputable. Incompetent persons, both in Russia, and in the USA can confirm the another version only. No offense intended, friend.
The problem is that in history, there are those that will lay claim to something they either sold, traded or lost in a war.

It only takes one loud voice to make these obscure claims and they start a movement for whatever reason. Many times during history, people with these claims have started wars for a varity of reasons, mostly to change the subject from something else they have screwed up.

Anyway, it would be major loss of life on both sides if someone attacked Alaska as has happened in any such action.

Lately the Republican Tea Partiers are making Rush look like a RINO... (at least around my neck of the woods)

To answer RayinAk's question, I am a Registered Independent. I don't like democrat or republican extremists, more of moderate myself. The extremism is what is tying Congress's hands right now and why they can't pass a budget. No one wants to give an inch. I understand the ancient art of negotiating which asking for more than you want, but at one point you gotta give something to get something. I am currently PO'd at both Democrats and Republicans.

(Note for the overly sensitive, Sarcasm: On)

I say stop organized crime, don't vote for an incumbent.

Red = socialist-communist, probably like some liberal Democrats in this forum. Lisa is a RINO (Republican in name only), like other Republican "politicians for life" in Congress, still into earmarks and dealing under the table day and night.

How about you?
