FishTAxi is on a distinguished road

This composite image of the lunar eclipse was captured in Fairbanks between 1:30 and 2:30 Tuesday morning, August 28, 2007. As the moon was being eclipsed, there was a massive aurora show that covered most of the northern half of the sky with dancing ribbons running north to south. At one point it almost covered the moon for a moment. Also, several meteors crossed the view making for a spectacular show.

Did you get to see that? Down here (panhandle) we didn't have the lights from what I saw but there were a couple of meteors before I fell asleep.
