The SE AK seems to have a good deal of bears, deer, goats, salmon.

Down in the Kenai Peninsula you have all the above plus browns, Moose, and bou.

10 acres or so for now to put up a small cabin to spend a few months a year in.

For deer and black bear hunting and good salmon fishing I would recommend SE. Get a good skiff and you are home free. Problem is that salmon season and deer season are far apart. I suppose you could come up for silvers and stay for deer, that would work. But kings and reds come in spring and early summer.

Hunting anywhere off the road system is really not all that good. And salmon fishing is not all that good either, unless you are dip netting and have time to stay until the fish are in. I suppose it depends on what you want to do. If you just want to catch a couple salmon and get a chance at a moose the road system will work.

I'll sell you mine. Has five acres on the North Side of Totek Lake, runway next to the cabin and all sorts of critters running around... Access is by air only in the summer, snowmachine, skiplane or dog sled in the winter.

You can live in solitude or have Satellite TV and Internet and be in touch with the world....

The Toklat river is only a few miles away with the interiors biggest Grizzly, what the locals refer to as the "Toklat Grizzlies" or "Ice Bears" (because of the open water due to the warm springs, they have a late salmon run and the bears stay up until after that but they are coated with ice from going into the open water and getting out at -0 and colder temps, very hard to kill with a bow in the older days, so bears were mythical).

Ok, your search is over, poop or get off the pot....

That plot has no trees, view or waterfront.
