Default Everyone lied!

It isn't grey and rainy or grey and snowy all the time in Cordova. It's always sunny and beautiful!

LOL okay so we just caught a lucky break, but we have been here for a week and the weather has been so spectacular, such a nice welcome to Alaska. If anyone wants pictures of the area let me know, I only have a few thousand.

I LOVE it. Weather aside I mean, the whole small town atmosphere and stunning natural scenery and wildlife. It's just such a good change from where we were the past two years. I am so glad we took this job, and I thank everyone who offered help on the forum and privately!

Makes me jealous, I want to be there! The pictures are beautiful. I do think it looks the way I've pictured some towns in Alaska. Your picture of downtown Main St. reminds me of the TV show Northern Exposure. How severe are the winters in Cordova? How about the summers? Best of luck to you in your move. I hope you are all happy with your new place to call home.
