I love the comment

"The Times' readers had fun with the proposal. "Let them try and take it," wrote one commenter. "I know some guy's from the Bronx and Washington Heights who will meet up with them and give them a tour. Let Alaska go back to keeping an eye on Russia.""

The state with the least guns per capita vs the state with the most guns per capita.

When I read the title, I was asking myself what in the heck was going on that we were poking our nose into New York. Upon reading I started laughing like a madman. Sheer Genius.

That's great. The whole urban liberal mindset of "we know what's best for you out in the countryside" drives me nuts. How great would it be if it passed?

And before you jump on me, yes I do sometimes voice my opinions on Alaskan matters, but it never goes farther than just voicing an opinion. I would NEVER have the audacity to think that I know better than Alaskans when it comes to making policies that govern their lands, or any other state-specific matter. It's pure arrogance, in my opinion.
