It's good to see snow on the ground. Here in Wyoming we've had a terrible drought and this winter isn't helping. Finally got about an inch of powder yesterday, temp was
-14 this morning. The air is all crystally looking. What little moisture there is freezes and disappears. Do you drive to those rigs often? That looks like a tricky situation. ![]() |

Every day...3 times a day...3 different rigs. Unless of course it a phase 2 or 3 and the roads are closed. The roads are actually really good here. But drifts or zero visabilty can change that.
-14 degrees? It was warmer here today on the north slope!

People make fun of me when I say I'm moving to Alaska to get warm.
It's often colder here than it is in many areas of your wonderful state. We live at 7500 feet so that makes a difference. We also have visibility and icing up problems when the winds blow. I am so looking forward to getting back up there. |

I have to confess. That is no mountain range. It's a snow pile after our 3 day blow. Sorry!
![]() There are no mountains in Kuparuk Alaska!
