Its amazing what happens with mother nature. Sometimes I wish I had a bigger camera. One of these days. Might happen again today, I'll take more pictures if it does this again.

Out at the lake last night...

Redoubt Volcano this morning...from the bluff in Kenai...over looking the mouth of the Kenai River and Cook Inlet.

I'm getting up and heading out earlier in the am to Kenai. I missed the mountain with just the top third an immense pink this morning. Was a pretty sight against a purple background and that gun sight look to the peak.

Default Homer Day Trip

Just an all around great day.

The Tustamena Ferry leaving Homer

The mighty eagle

The boat harbor is freezing up

Me and my buddy on the beach

It's been cold. Makes for some cool art work in the frozen surf

You drive right along Beluga Lake enroute to the spit. In the winter this is where the ice racing action is. Half the town must have been here.

The Homer Spit from the bluff overlooking town. We ate lunch at Lands End resort out on the very tip of the spit

On the drive home. Redoubt and Illiamna Volcanoes from the pull out in Happy Valley
