That's funny, because I had one of those varnished moose poo keychains, and today I noticed the "nugget" is gone. Of course, my son directed me outside for a variety of selection

I use those insulated muleskin leather gloves. But I chop the finger tips off so I have bare fingers.

Hey Rance, hopefully you have your gloves off when you do this...

I just bought a pair of hunting mittens that: the finger end flips back secure by a small magnet, there is a glove part with open finger ends on the inside and the thumb flips back also. Works great for taking pictures in cold weather!

Default Life in Pilot Station, AK (Yupik Village)

Some photos of Pilot Station Village, 500 miles west of Anchorage - It's been raining for the last two days and turning to a sheet of ice - very miserable. We ordered our ice cleats last night but they won't be here until January!
Enjoy our pictures of the frozen Yukon and tundra around Pilot Station.

Susan, it rained here the past couple of days, too. Nice and clear here today. I put sheet metal screws on the bottom of my older pair of shoes. They might have some there in the store. I have relatives there in PQS.
