Canon Digital Rebel XTi and the current images I posted I alternated between a Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 IS lens and a Canon 18-55mm Wide Angle EF-S f/3.5-5.6 IS lens. I have had this camera for three years now and absolutely love it.

Love that Sleeping Lady shot! Spent two years in Anchorage back in the 70's (rented from Oscar Vogel - well known guide) and the view we had out my kitchen window was of Mount Susitna.

Sounds like a pretty good combo. Am planning on doing 2 or 3 weeks in Alaska next September and am working toward my lens setup now.
Anybody think that the first few weeks in September is a bad time to come?
Wanted to avoid the major tourist season, get some fishing in, and still have decent weather.
