I don't know why. When I staring at the dusk photo beside the woods and river, there are montains far away, I seems can image how it feel, if I sit on the stones on the river bank.

The feeling is real. The cool and a little code wind, the twilight quite and somethings I can hear the noise of insect. I always to have this scene in my mind, when I plan to have a wonderful vocation. I even know, I will put my foot into the water and feel the cool in the river and the water's flow across my foot.

Wow, the fall colors are really pretty. I love looking thru this thread.

Warpt--what are those long legged birds with the geese? I've never seen those before...

Looks like Sandhill cranes or some type of crane... they have the most unusual call...

Yes, they are Sandhill's. We have them all over the place here, almost getting in the way there are so many.

Warptman The adult male Sandhill has what appears to be a yellow cast on his leg but it has some kind of lettering on it. Did you get close enough to determine what it says? I've seen a crane with a cast protecting an open wound but have never seen a wild bird released with something like that on it. Normally when a wild bird suffers some kind of injury it is retained in captivity until the attachment can be safely removed prior to release.
