Holy cow Tigre, your photos always turn out so perfect. And you said you just use a point-and-shoot Lumix? Or am I confusing you with someone else? The first picture and the second-to-last picture just look like there's no way they could have been taken with anything less than an SLR camera. Fantastic!

Lumix 14 mega pixel P&S delivers spectacular results - it is proof positive you do not need to spend thousands of dollars in a professional DSLR to create stunning incredible images !! Certain people can accomplish this because they know how to follow simple instructions !! Well done !! Bravo !! Great spectacular images for sure.

Maybe a little, I don't remember. Took those a month ago or so. I was pretty bummed that I forgot ice walkers, because just before you get to that frozen pool with the seracs there was an area that was too slippery for my mom, with no way to get around it. She had a really good time though.

And thanks guys. Still just using my Lumix, though I'm starting to play around with my guy's old D100. There are some things, like good macro, low light, and high-contrast that compact cameras just can't do right, so I figure I should use some of my down time this winter to relearn how to use a real camera.

They look pretty darn good to me! I think those may be some of my favorite pics of scenery so far I like to imagine that I'm living in a quaint little (not dry) cabin, looking out at the scenic masterpiece...sipping on a nice hot cup of coffee. AWWWWWWWWW
