Gonna try to get a room. We want to be around at night to see any northern lights. And last year after a few hours in the springs..it was very hard to drive to Fairbanks. Especially after being on the road for a week. Man I just wanted to sleep.

Have you begun researching additional toys for your new toy, Warpt? I recommend a tripod as one of your first purchases.

I know, it is on my list of things. I'm going back to town next month, I think I'll wait until then. Then a flash. This camera will be the death of my paydays...

Oh...but think of the fun you will be having!
Then you will need a photo program to do some editing or just outright have fun with your new photos
If there is any help I can give you, just ask!

You know, Barkley, that probably is the way to go...but I cannot justify the cost of something I will not use fully. I utilize Corel Paint Shop Pro X2 for what I need at the fraction of the cost. In my opinion, it does all that Photoshop does but is a little easier for me to navigate. I only do cropping, resizing, perhaps sharpening, and adding the watermark.
But then again - what do I know
