Were you meaning like the Exit Glacier area, Chris? There are signs along the pathway leading to the glacier that mark the year when the glacier was at that specific point.

Chris, now that I think about it there is a rock that has been carved on the trail that says "Ice Limit 1920"

I've been down that trail. There's a wooden bridge over the falls.

Cori, since you like glaciers here are a couple of shots of Mendenhall Glacier from a different angle, taken from along side the Mendenhall River downstream a ways from the glacier.
Wide angle shot
and zoomed in a tad.
It was a gloriously beautiful day today in Juneau |

Thank you so much, Dave...I'll gladly keep the snow here if you are able to capture such splendid images. I hope one day to make it down that direction to see firsthand the Mendenhall...I'll hire you for a guide
