It was so much fun! The dogs were really excited, and it was very cold, but so lovely. I enjoyed the trip immensely! I wish I lived in the Interior!

The one with the snow on the Black Spruce (think that's what I'm seeing) is really cool. Nice shots!

I agree. It has given me a new appreciation for the cold. It was 55 this weekend and everyone was freaking out about it! GEEZ...Whimps! lol
It was absolutely a place I would love to move, but the man will not go for it. I will have to await his demise.. (joke). He has no idea how beautiful it is!

I just wasn't sure of the Black Spruce, being soooo covered with snow. Really cool.

Your mother looked like she was having a good time too!!! The pics were wonderful, as a lot of us do not see that perspective all the time...looked like downright fun in a fairytale land, and loved the ice sculpture too!!

They were having Chrsitmas in Ice in the North Pole, and it was so beautiful. We took the city bus and went to the bazaar at the North Pole Mall, and just had a wonderful experience! Everyone was very nice, and I have not a bad words to share about Alaskans or Alaska! We even met Kris Kringel, who was the only Santa to make National Geographic (December 2000). he was our driver to and from Chena. It was great fun.
it WAS like a faiytale land!
