Caught a bit of alpenglow out back of our house this evening. These photos didn't get all the colors I was seeing, but...

The sunset this night set the sky aflame....this is outside of Chickaloon on the Matanuska River. Only editing was resizing...Nature did all of the work.

Thank you, Ed...but Nature has all the credit for this one It lasted far longer than I had thought it would...gave me ample time to hike down onto the river and skate across the rocks exposed.

The Alpenglow was nearly painful this night! You have such a lovely view.

Well, Mother Nature was just doin' it natural. As my father used to say, "Powder and paint make a woman what she ain't!" A truly gorgeous sunset captured on film (or digitally) is always worth posting for us other folks, Cori and Ed. Nice captures!
