Looking for a good job in Alaska? Get your tower license and you can make big bucks! There are a handful of them in Alaska. Something people might consider.

I have 4 tower climbers on staff and they don't make a lot compared to the power techs. We put up 4 new towers this summer, monopoles and lattice. 120-180 meters. Not too shabby.

I miss at least summer, but this one was taken during the Fall

This one, too. This owl was circling around me during moose season. What it was trying to do was to spot birds and rodents' movement as I scared them by walking around. Very smart creature

That owl would get as far as 10" away from me sometimes, but I hardly had any time to prepare to take the shot. Finally i anticipate which way she was going to fly over me, and got lucky.
