There used to be a McDonald's in that big yellow building when I was younger, it used to be fun to walk around downtown from the Mall to that yellow building. Now I stay away from downtown as much as possible.

Too many tourists there and too much traffic. There are ways to get around town without going downtown!

I know these are not too recent but some pics from last summer....
I am on page 200 of 400+ of this thread (it's taken me two days, but I am moving along!). What AMAZING photos! I am hoping to move to Fairbanks in July/August, so glad I found this wonderful forum!

Let's hope.......as long as I get some financial aid or a part-time job, and the BF gets a job, we're in. I am dying to get out of the hell hole I currently live in!
