Cool, Thanks! Even if you don't find it, the photos are really neat to see.
In the town of Iditarod, which is now abandoned, there is an old stern wheeler that was rotting away down a slew there.
Last time I was there was in the late seventies. At that time, the only residents were an older couple and two grand kids they were raising, the kids grew up and left and the couple passed away so the town is now a ghost town.
I would imagine that it is even further gone with the wood rotting away. Never got any photos of it though, looking back on it, that was a really good missed shot...

Thank you. This evening I'm going to go farther into that slough and take a picture of a very old tug. It's a clear day today.

What a day on the lake yesterday! Got some logs up into the woods.
And then the lake looked so good.
So we took a ride.
My buddy Dave...and my other buddy Dave.
Surrounded by Daves in front of Dorshin Bay cabin
Looking up toward the Skilak Glacier

Does anyone have any pics of Iditarod? It would be so interesting to tour the ghost town. I love the pics of the old mines I've seen here also, fascinating history

Such a beautiful place Rance. I think I would make that my permanent home and forget about Sterling. Does Hannah like the cabin?

She loves the lake. The cabin isn't built yet and she wants to help. Trust me...I wish she was here just to ride on the lake.

Because it's a Skidoo and it's a workhorse of a machine. Wide track. Rance's machine is a late 80's or early 90s and the XLT is a mid 90's model. The Skidoo was build in this century.
