Was flying home from Anchorage tonight and took some photos along the way...
Shot of Anchorage after taking off from Lake Hood
Looking down on Big Lake and the smaller ones around it...
Tried to get a shot of Mt. McKinley, but the haze was too thick... but you can still see it in the center above the haze a bit.

Yea, the haze has been really thick last couple days. I can often see the mountain from my desk at the office in midtown, but lately I can barely even see the Chugach or the Talkeetnas!

Hatcher Pass opened two days ago, headed up there today. I only went to the parking area and came back down, too busy in the middle of the afternoon. I may head back up there tomorrow morning, before all the people get there.

That was a ride for him/her from the looks of it...peoples are showing up eh? Kinda like the crazy tourons down this way...sheesh have to get up at 6 am to go to the store to avoid them, get enough coffee in me to leave,...They are still out at 11 pm...
