Hey all, my lovely bride left today to go Moose hunting, wish her well!! Being the good little hubby I am, I stayed here to take care of her critters. She just called giggling like a schoolgirl about landing in ANC and seeing mountains and her home land again. I'm thinking after this trip it won't take much convincing to get us there..

I hear they are doing well down on the peninsula. That Caribou Hills fire has driven them all down within hunting range. I saw 2 nice bulls just south east of Fairbanks recently. Could have got both with a pistol they were so close. Pulled right up to both and got pictures instead.

She hunts with a group that sees great success, this year they are heading up towards the park someplace due to the failing health of one in the party. I'm hoping she brings some nice pictures as well, both of game and the place we're (still) looking at in Talkeetna. I've seen your pics here on different threads Rance, you're a master!!
