Are you suggesting that there's something nefarious afoot? Here's the film's page at
IMDB.com , showing the anticipated release date is December 1, 2012.
Have you done any professional film work? I have.
It can take months for the completion of post-production work. Also, films are often released at specific times of year -- summer, as noted above, but also at the end of the year. This captures the holiday audiences, and also keeps movies fresh in the minds of Academy voters. You know, those people that decide which films and actors win the Academy awards each year.
