Last year, many famous actors were in Anchorage - making a movie (chuckle).

Where is it?

Nicholas Cage; John Cusak; Curtis 50 cent Jackson. REMEMBER ??

How come no movie? Was it cancelled? I guess we have to wait? A few more years to find out!

It takes a while in post-production and then the studios try to release movies at times that people tend to watch movies-for instance a summer blockbuster.

I think it'll be a good flick. Probably better then that one "Everybody Eats Whales" with that Barrymore gal.

Sorry -- just happened to see this thread title on the main forum page and thought I'd jump in.

Are you suggesting that there's something nefarious afoot? Here's the film's page at IMDB.com, showing the anticipated release date is December 1, 2012.

Have you done any professional film work? I have.

It can take months for the completion of post-production work. Also, films are often released at specific times of year -- summer, as noted above, but also at the end of the year. This captures the holiday audiences, and also keeps movies fresh in the minds of Academy voters. You know, those people that decide which films and actors win the Academy awards each year.

Jumping back out now.

Thanks Moon.
Some people don't understand just how long it really takes to produce movies, that and the timing that is played with.
