I like remote so I hope finding a dry cabin somewhere within a reasonable distance to jobs won't be hard to find. Gas prices are going through the roof here in our little town $4.59 per gallon and will probably be going up this week. I am so thankful we saved money back just in case something like this happened but we need an income or that money will be running out before long.
If the mine job doesn't pan out then we are going to be looking pretty much anywhere.
Sorry to hear about all this, MM.

Didn't you post a couple weeks ago that he had a job in Fairbanks? What happened to that?

Lets just say that once we got the exact details of the job and how the company worked and there was some information that we couldn't get solid answers on my husband decided that maybe it wasn't a wise place to work

They are there we seen where they have been going bathroom but we have yet to see on IN our yard. We have seen them around town though. Today I had a couple come in that had been staying on a GPAA claim saying that a couple of wolves bothered them at their camp last night. So maybe we will get to see them.

good, I wasn't trying to be critical but for most places that is important. getting and proving resisdency is 1/2 the battle.
get thru your first winter and things will get better.
way too many people show up here and work thru the "good months" and the m haul butt before winter. and the employer has wasted all the training time.
it's just something every newcomer goes thru, it's nothing personal.

It's been damn near 90 here al;ready and way too humid.

Now, I'm one to talk.. Im moving to Central Nebraska, 1 hr NW of Grand Island.......... the town might get soaked with water or blown away by a tornado before I get there.

Megensmom, how are you? I See you haven't updated your blog in awhile.
