I usually exchange my Alaska dollars for Ketchikanese dollars over at the A&P Market across my the ferry terminal. They have the best exchange rates.

True, but A&P will only give that favorable exchange rate to people born in Ketchikan. You'll need to bring your original birth certificate as proof -- not a copy.

Peregrine- my whole family lives in Ohio, my sister actually lives in North Ridgeville (likely somewhat close to you). I have vowed never ever to live there because it just feels so clausterphobic! Living in Colorado now, and even the front range is starting to feel too tiny!
