So many SEX Offenders in North Pole AK (Anchorage, Fairbanks: home, camping)

OK that thing has me confused. When I put in the zip code only of a certain village, I get 0 sex offenders. When I put in the name of the village, I get 14 or so. When I put in the zip and the name, I get zero again.

because it's flawed, probably written by university students for free. I deal with this kind of crap all the time.

i lived in alaska last summer and was surprised by how many times i was approached by a man with ill intentions. it was really scary, i guess this is due to the uneven man woman ratio.

I visited Calif. last year to visit family, and I was surprised by how many times I was approached by women with ill intentions, some were really scary, but most were just to expensive.

Keep in mind that if you use the "all addresses" function you'll pull up any address associated with an offender on the list, work, residence, whatever. When we were moving to Eagle River it seemed like it was overrun with child molesters, so many of them lived right there. Come to find out that there's a PRISON in Eagle River, and virtually all of them that popped up on the register were still incarcerated.

if you go to ask.com and under search type in the phrase
" sex offender list North Pole, AK"
It will show you that the sex offender ratio isn't 300-1 it is 55-1! Fairbanks is actually the one with the ratio 300-1. I have small children, so this isn't very great for me either. The crime rate in the general Fairbanks area is one of the highest percentages in the nation. I love north pole, I consider it my home. I have lived on Eieslon as well (grew up a military brat) Eielson has some of the nicest housing I have ever seen in an AFB, as long as you aren't out walking arround the streets in Fairbanks down town in the middle of the night, and keep a close eye on your kids, this is a great place, a tad expensive and cold, but all in all, you can have a great experiance. The greatest advise I can give you is to avoid the native alaskan, not all are bad and I am not racist, but they tend to be the peak of the crime rate.
