5-mile-long landslide in Alaska (closing, interest, color)

Can I play, guys? I took a cruise and stepped off at Ketchikan for an hour or so once. Do I qualify?

Anyway, I remember many "global warming" events in this country that far surpass the present. One in particular where all the giant reservoirs in NY State that feed NYC were almost empty and people were flushing their toilets once a day. How about one year where the ground got so dry, so deep, so long, that the houses were sinking several inches.

What I can't figure out is, if the "experts" of today are correct, NYC should have been under water years ago. These events happened 50 Years ago! Can some of you, obviously learned gentlepersons, set me straight? I'm old, confused, lost!

Anthropological Global Warming is entirely a scam that only liberal freaks attempt to foist on the nation in a vain attempt to get more taxpayer money and government control over our lives. Anyone who falls for this liberal hoax is obviously not very bright. Which explains why Democrats, and only Democrats, believe in AGW so ardently. As you correctly pointed out, NYC should be 20 feet underwater by now according to the AGW Guru Al Gore.
