You might try wholewheat radio in Talkeetna. They do house concerts. Or any bar in any town.

Lots of opportunities for that in Juneau- we have concerts in the park in summer, the Folk Festival in spring, lots of venues at the university, and an excellent public radio station that loves to broadcast local music.
I would imagine that Anc and Fairbanks would be similar, perhaps comparable. Anc may be better in some respects because it is larger, but I've always gotten more of an artsy town vibe from Juneauites.

Whoops, read your post incorrectly. Being from Juneau I suppose you know all that...

All else fails there's always the Alaskan!

Default depends

Depends, I guess...on whether you're any good or not!

If you get through SE, they're got pretty regular live music performances at the Chikat center in Haines. Try contacting the folks at KHNS radio station, they'll know who to call.
