Oh no, his beard is scary. I like it shaved. He has a dimple...need I say more?

I'm glad you guys agree. Long hair can be a huge hindrance here in NC, I kinda thought that it would be less so in Alaska.

I'm gonna tell him what you guys said about the hair, but I think I'll keep the beard thing to myself

My hubster immigrated with long awesome dreadlocks...which we soon discovered did NOT dry out in northern WI/MN like they did in Australia...YUCK! They stunk really badly! He cut them off (sniff sniff) and is now sporting a short and serious haircut. I hope that when we get up north he'll think about growing it out and dreading it up again. That'd be a dream...

Festa....maybe your partner wants to cut his hair....?

First of all, "Alaska", it's cold there! keep your hair.
Secondly, I almost cut my hair (which goes all the way down my back) when trying to get that "Ultimate Job" and knew that it wasn't my hair preventing me from getting it when I didn't even get called in for an interview. Now, I'm going on a year at my new job in a school district position, making more money than I ever have and yes; I still have my long hair. sure I tie it back everyday,,,,,, but not for long.

Just tie it back into a ponytail like I do. Never had an issue with long hair from anyone.
Now wearing a tie is another thing.....

You could always use your tie to tie back your hair into a pony tail. Make a fashion statement.

No, he doesn't really want to cut it, he just thinks it's the "responsible" thing to do.

I had a friend who's dreadies were not drying out and got stinky. He shaved off all the dreads underneath that were bad, and when he started growing them back out, he kept them separated in MUCH smaller locks. Now they are long and beautiful again, but smaller and dry easier.
