Signs and rules are really for people who are cautious drivers to begin with... working in claims you take so many accident claims with people who follow their own rules and don't follow any speed limit signs... it always seems that they feel "it's the other guy that won't happen to me... I'm a great driver and can handle it"... Per your idea- a yellow danger sign...?? Slippery when wet... no disrespect but a sign right before the dangerous spot with the death toll sign... I've seen them here in dangerous intersections...

What a shame for all involved... and yes Star... at least the one vehicle's occupants will go home.. prayers for all..

Count me in the careful cautious group then. Especially when driving in unfamiliar areas... And in areas where the roads are not straight and flat. Slippery when wet is for all road surfaces for me. But sharp curve ahead is nice. I also look to see how many 'drive safe' lollipops are around - the ones that indicate a fatal accident occurred there - and know to be a little extra cautious. Especially when there are more than a few and it is obvious they were not all installed at the same time.
