Until the 9.5-10.0 hits. It will make up for lost time.

Ummm... Anyways, not so sure I can agree with the death/destruction part. Two nasty ones that caused Tsunamis caused a world of hurt, on the other side of the globe. And Alaska is still getting debris from the Japan one.

Granted, the large destructive ones don't hit nearly as often as your other quoted natural disasters... Of course, they also hit without warning.
