Scarves... 'Round about October the fingers start itchin' for some knittin'...
It's like instinct, the leaves begin to turn and I start having compulsions to knit scarves. I have tons of hand-knit scarves, filled with dropped stitches and lurid colors, since I never seem to get any better.

I don't think I've ever stocked up on winter supplies. Usually buy an extra hat and a extra pair of gloves. Maybe a pair of bunny boots, too.
