I got up at 5:30 to look for a cat gone "walk-about" (yes, Lily is now home and safe), and since I was already up I signed on to see what you guys are up to. I just read through this thread and I have to say you guys are HILARIOUS! Thank you all for the joy you gave me this morning.

As an aside to Rance, you are NOT fat, you are you! And as someone else mentioned, even though she is far away, you have a girlfriend who is thinking of you as much as you are thinking of her. I know it is corny, but when I was in Desert Storm, my wife and I would try to take a look at the sky at the "same time" and then write a quick note to each other (pre-email days) and it seemed to help.

Hey BigD! I'm sure everyone here is glad to bring a smile or laugh to your day! And I think it is so sweet that you and your wife wrote notes and looked at the sky at the same time! *sigh*

P.S. Was there a time before email????? I can't seem to remember it!!!
