Hey did you know? Probably not I think this was before you were born.

At one time in the 1970s to almost 1980s I was on the endangered spiecies list.

Yep. Alaskan born resident.

Born and raised, too. I discovered the states back in 1995. Been down there just about every other year since then. Last trip was in August, I'm heading out again in April.

Well now you know why I was delisted!

So where are you going to trave to this time?

I think I should take a drive to Seward and the Kenai. Maybe see if it's a good place to winter, then summer in Fairbanks.

Going back to Montana with the Ranger with a side trip to Wichita to see a old flame who taught here. She was a teacher here for four years and up and left thinking she needed a "change." I've noticed when people that need that end up coming back up to Ak. She's homesick for here and I miss her a lot. She might return here next fall, hopefully.

That's why I prefer the comics in the paper. You know they are pulling your leg.

I could be a 'southern belle'... if only I could figure out how to spell "ya'all"... Unfortunately, I'm not sure short black hair with long bangs and crazy clothes at all qualifies one to be southern. I don't have ladylike manners, either, and I've been told I swear worse than a sailor. Also I don't eat meat, so that disqualifies me, right?

Ach, I'm hopeless. I'll never be anything except Alaskan. Except maybe if I move to Canada, which I might do if certain people get elected president...

Well, I just checked my calendar. I have far less packing time than I thought!
You would not believe how anally organised all my crap is, though. Now if I can just fit it all in my car. I can't believe how much stuff I've bought!!

Ugh, I'm gonna go write something deep and cool sounding.
