Arctic, I know they fly planes as well, but the leg Xa'at had displayed from FAI to Juneau was listed as a heli flight. I figured the web site she got it off of was in error. I've flown ERA on many (too many!) occasions. All puddle jumpers or Dash 8's, I think. Out of all Alaska's air carriers, the worst is PenAir (WhenAir). Delays, cancellations and lost freight just top my list of complaints (and I'm not talking weather problems here, but mechanical or scheduling problems). Last time, they had the crew maxed out on hours and they had to take a mandatory rest before flying again. ("Didn't you know how long they would have been flying when you scheduled them for this flight?")

Well we've celebrated New Years here in Sweden. Very festive and lot's of fireworks. We are taking the train to Stockholm this evening to spend a day or two...then heading east to Oslo, Norway. Hope all is well and nobody is too hungover!
Weird...it's 2008. Does anyone else take a week or two, to quit writing the wrong year on things?
