Well, I finally made it. I couldn't have picked a more beautiful day- the clouds are all but banished to the far corners of the horizon and the sun is shining bright upon the sparkling snow, lighting up the jagged mountain peaks like they might just be on fire. We are surely in for some alpenglow tonight, and perhaps even a dancing aurora to welcome me back to the land of patient glaciers, checkered hills, and blue & gold license plates.
Ah, the very concept of home is enough to bring out the poetic side even in the less wordy people, no less me...

well all talked to Rance when he landed in Chicago lol he said it was very hot (64)
he expects to land in anchorage around 11 tonight your time
we had a great chat it sounds like he had a wonderful time.
