Evenings here in south west in early May can be from 30-40 or so. Sometimes it gets as warm as the high 50s/lower 60s.

Thanks Warptman.

Thinking about these places. Are they any warmer?

Inside Passage, Juneau, Skagway, Cruise Glacier Bay,
Ketchikan, Victoria, Seattle

Another question: Is May a good time of the year to visit? As opposed to June, August? Anything more exciting depending on time of year? :-)

Rance, I applaud your comments and your choice to say these comments, and I'm so glad you finally got around to cleaning the pool. Pomposity is always only begging for attention, not caring to be useful to others. GOOD WORK, RANCE!

I'm sure I won't get a reply until 2:00am or so. And there is no telling what that will consist of. I very rarely get pissed off. Today is the day. This AK forum has gone completely down hill from the moment he joined and I'm good and damn tired of it. I have to hand it to the locals that have stuck around and have taken the rash of crap continuously on a daily basis. But you'd be surprised at the visitors I get complaints from also on a daily basis, that are completely turned off by his comments, many never to return. Tomorrow will be a new day. Either he cuts the crap starting tonight...or he finds a new site to adorn with his god almighty presence. He could be a genuine asset to this place, yet reduces himself to an immature child like bully, and I will not tolerate not one more flaming post.

All those places will be warmer than what Warptman suggested that time of year. They are much farther south.

yes, Juneau is warmer in the summer, high's of 68 to 74 at times. The breeze helps. Night's will get down to 35 or so.
May is also the beginning of tourist season. Prices for food and lodging go thru the roof . Right now you can get a room for 49.95 to 69.95, in May add 100.00 a night to it. Same room.
June and July the tourist wave is in full swing, slows a bit in August, one last push over Labor Day, slows to a crawl toward the end of Sept.
Then we get our town back till the following spring.

I thank you also Rance! I for one haven't posted much just due to the possibility of being "corrected". When I'm wrong I'm wrong, but ya just get tired of some of the crap.

Thank you again!

Thanks, Rance. I too thought he was bringing alot of negativity to the forum. I tend to ignore that sort of thing and not honor it with a response in the first place. I am glad you did, though. Kudos bud.
