I donated it to charity, Danny. They'll be using it to buy a vacuum cleaner for the battered women's shelter. But you're right, I should have bought you something!
Now, I shall be away for a while I prepare my dish. It's going to be great. An instant classic.

Ach, I wrote this great roast, but it was prolly a little too mean to post. So I sent it to Rance in a DM. Anyone else want a copy?

As far as I'm concerned, you're a non-person. A troll. Please find your entertainment somewhere else.
A person can put anything they want in their profile, you can look at someone's profile and imagine whatever you're inclined to assume.

As to your other comment, which amounts to nothing but a blatant violation of the TOS, that kind of thing is what entertains me about your suggesting I go somewhere else.

Seems to be quite a lot of that kind of double standard in evidence,

...people suggesting that others should act in some manner that those making the suggestion don't abide by themselves.

I've gotten permission from the powers that be to post ma' roast, given that most of this will get deleted in the morning anyway.
Have at, folks!

Sometimes I think about the sorry state of affairs of our country and sometimes I think about whatever sorry sap is the latest inspiration for a story. Sometimes I think about class work or class mates or even just classes in general. Quite often, I think about how much I love French Toast. But, in all the thinking time I have left, I usually think about people. You know, people in general. The human condition. It's sort of a hobby of mine, picking apart what makes people act the way they do, etc etc. Which may have been why I was so disappointed to find that sociology is a load of crockery. But I digress.
The point is, I'd like to think I'm a fairly good judge of character. I'm also an optimist, so I like to at least figure that there's some good in every person. Now, I have limits. I think Adolf Hitler was a terrible person. I don't think there was any good in him. But for the most part, I do believe we are all basically good.
With that out of the way, let the roast begin.
User 2, I think you have a serious god complex, thinly veiled behind an above average vocabulary. You type out long strings of nonsense with words so long that Shakespeare himself would probably lose consciousness. You fancy yourself as being cool and collected while everyone else is stamping their feet, but in actuality you are very easy to tip over the edge. You snap at people for tiny mistakes in grammar or use of slang (prolly... it means probably. Surprise!) whilst pretending not to notice the gaping holes in your swiss cheese logic.
Here's what else I think: you don't even realise it. Yeah, you could be a troll, but I believe the chances are higher that you really believe in your heart of hearts that you're just an innocent, unappreciated victim and the rest of us are big bad bullies.
The only thing I don't get is why you stay here! I'm sorry, but if something I said received a response like you do on a daily basis, you can be damn sure I'd have tucked tail and run long ago. Instead, you stick around, peppering your posts with snide comments to the point where it's not even worth wading through them to get to what you have to say. You're like a child, which is worrisome in its own right.
My last thought. You are going to get hit with that little ban stick that Rance is carrying in his pocket. If not now, eventually. You have been warned time and time again and never have you made any indication of chilling out. Well, it was fun, I suppose, but all good things have to come to an end. C'est la vie, and hasta la vista!

This entire thread will get deleted in the am. It's high time we started a new chat thread as this one is rather large anymore. Have your fun...get your rants out of your systems...but be civil about it please. You don't have to resort to blatant name calling or other forms of disrespect. Open honest conflict might do everyone some good. Then tomorrow we start with a clean slate. You can even bash me if you want. I can take it. But also starting tomorrow, any form of flaming or trolling will only get you deletions and infractions. It's 2008...and by gosh we need to get back on track for those coming to this forum in need of assistance or answers. We'll still have a chat thread for the off topic and everyday conversations. So you've got until 8:00 am Alaska Time to get your deepest thoughts and feelings out in the open. Have fun but be civil. I'm calling it a night.
