Well, I'm getting time and a half for it... Not that that really makes up for the precious holiday time I am missing. In any case it was this or work Christmas eve, and my family's coming down to visit me over Christmas.

Indeed! Course, time and a half of nothing is still... nothing. Wages in Idaho are terrible compared to Juneau, but cost of living isn't much different.

The shop guys and I are working a full 10 hours on Friday and an 8 hour day Saturday. Friday is double time and Saturday is time and a half. I was going to do a DB job at the state data center on Sunday, but they put it off until next weekend.

It's 48 degrees now? Well...there goes the snow. It'll probably rain for a week then drop right to zero, for that good ol frost driving effect.

Heard we might have a fresh fall over the weekend. I hate thaw/freeze weather, because the roads become an Ice rink.
