It's still blowing fairly good up here. Planes diverting to deadhorse, phase 2 convoy travel only. If only I had a good movie and a cup of hot chocolate here in the office. I'd just close the door and kick back the rest of the day.

That sounds just like Haines The good thing about that weather is the snow packs down nicely and makes it good for snowmachining.

If we ever get any. I'd just as soon see 3 feet when I get home next month. We need a nice blanket of insulation to keep that frost level to a minimum.

I think it might snow tonight... But then I've been saying that for the past three days. It's just the right temperature (25) and a nice cloud cover. There's even a ring around the moon, if that means anything...

Uuuuh...

'Nee way, the wives tale is that a ring around the moon means snow. I think that scientifically it amounts to the amount of moisture in the clouds being just right to refract the light in that particular way, which also happens to be conducive to cloud formation.

Well, hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving. I'm celebrating tomorrow- I worked all day...
I was late for work, again, today. I don't know what's been up with me lately- I've never had this problem before. The good news: I don't need to worry about quitting my job. Happy Thanksgiving, Xa'at.

Hello All!
Hope everyone had a good day yesterday

Xa'at, I guess you're enjoying you holiday today. Hope you're having fun and eating well

So, how come you don't have to quit???
Did they open a regular Starbucks in Juneau?

General question--- are we all ready for the Christmas greetings and such??
They are already playing christmas music and I think White Christmas come on tv tonight (yipee, love that movie).

Happy Friday!!
