(is that a no no?) Who knows. I should check into Wasilla and such. And I have to get to Fairbanks, in the summer, lol. Maybe fall. I am always looking for the next place. I like new people, places and things. AND if you're lucky you make friends where ever you go ![]() SO you don't plan to retire in Fairbanks, huh? |

We have our share of snowbirds
![]() You should come to Fairbanks, twice, once in late Feburary early March for the Ice festival, Then in mid June to see why we endure the winter! ![]() I used to think I would retire here, but most of the kids have moved out of state, and I need to decide cost wise if I will be able to afford the winter heat. I have been thinking of down towards Rance's way. Maybe this summer I will find a weekend to go to Seward and the surrounding area. Maybe summer in Fairbanks at the lake and winter in Seward or south, now that may just work. |

I like Seward. Been there a few times, I would think it would be good for retiring. I'm sure by the time you are ready to retire you'll have it all figured out. ![]() |
