We might not get it 100%, but an awful lot of us on the TN forums are here from somewhere else, so we have a pretty fair understanding. I got to TN from MI, with a lot of years spent on the Gulf Coast along the way, lol. Went from too cold to too hot to jussssst right.

Just a word of caution to research the different areas of TN carefully if the heat and humidity are a major concern. Some of the people there will say it doesn't make a big difference because temps only vary by about 10 degrees form one place to another, but I'm here to tell you that 10 degrees, combined with the difference in dew points, makes a big difference in comfort level.
I moved from the extreme southwest corner of TN to the far northeast corner and I find it much more pleasant here. Mornings and evenings are usually cool enough to enjoy during a good part of the summer, and in the winter there is just enough snow and cold to require gloves and a snow brush without having to own a snow blower or heavy duty winter wear.
